Should I buy a pre-paid maintenance plan?
My car will be one year old in 20 days. I didn't purchase the three-year maintenance plan ($769) when I bought the car. The dealer said that I could purchase it any time before the car's first service. I assume this is still true.
What's the general view on the plan? Given that I am not a DIY guy, should I simply purchase it, or is there any other pre-paid plan that could work out better (such as a 4 or 5-year plan)? I plan to keep the car for a long time.
