Also, this may be really dumb to say, but you may have done what I did at first. When I plugged them in, i just went straight to my light switch and turned them on. Then proceeded to hit my blinker without the key in. The blinker didn't work so I kind of freaked out a bit. Then I put my key in the ignition and turned it to ACC Power and hit the blinker and it worked.

From the pic of the backside of the lights, it looks like there are six resistors encased in heatsinks. Can one of you respond with how hot these are to the touch when the lights are on? That's what scares me... the potential for high heat in a small enclosed area.

The noise is from all the current going through the in-line resistors. Depending on how many actual LEDs are in series with each other on each "circuit", the resistor value and current/wattage rating chosen can be different.

C300 BLACK
Firstly, want to thank the person that started this thread.
After reading and looking at the images, my heart was set and I quickly ordered a set from K2Motors. Buy with confidence if you are deciding, customer service was great. Delivery to the UK was very fast and on time.
I decided to buy the cherry smoked, as I thought this would be a great colour combo with my black C.
Quality, fitting and very simple plug and play. Only problem I am a little worried about are the resistors, they do get very hot. One side has enough room so I have stuck the panel to the chassis. One side is too tight and too much fabric and worried it may get too hot and catch a light once I push the fabric back to the original position. So at the moment, I have just left the resistors hanging in the boot until I can figure a safe and secure way to stick the resistor panels.
Anyways, enough of me ranting away.
The pictures you have all been waiting for.

Picture taken when it was sunny, you can see the new is brighter already compared to the old.

Really up to your own choice.
My opinion would be, if you have a red car with black alloys, grill or rear spoiler? The smoked would go well. Red rears would look real nice like the other pictures in this post.

Hearing everyone's feedback on how loud they are makes me worry about a fire hazard, driving a long road trip at night with your tail lights buzzing the whole time is the only thing that makes me wary about the purchase.
