Try turning on your parking lights. I believe the 2009 has the same switch as the 2008. I know I can turn mine counter clockwise from the off position into two different positions past that; one for right fog, one for left fog. It's there as a parking light for Euro countries. Doing this should activate your right fog.

here are some quick pictures after install.
The taillights are BRIGHT!! But they are Loud as well! Can't really notice the sound only after the engine started. On the side note, I found my taillight connector on my passenger side is melted during the install so i had to connect the brown wire on the side. ( seems like many other are just talking about this issue on another thread!!!!!!! )

I didn't find my connector melted, but it seems to be happening a lot lately.

Looks nice in your white car.

Thanks for sharing the pictures ggms16 and gary_youngster, the tail lights look awesome!

How visible are the brake lights and turn signals in direct sunlight? Are they comparable to OEM? I've seen aftermarket LED tail lights on other cars that have pretty poor brake light and turn signal output.

Thx! They are bright even in direct sunlight. I say its as bright as oem.

One thing i wanna bring up is that my driver side brake light is turned on along with the led strip bar( but its very dim and you can't tell unless u get so close. ggms16 do you have that problem? ( i think you can kinda see that from my pic above... just on the driver side )

Yea, the melting connectors have me worried also now specially since I'm running Raybrig super superwhite bulbs for my parking and brake lights. I'll have to check them when I get home this weekend.

As for the new tails, I'll keep watch for now to see if any problems develop and/or how long they last.

I'm sorry for the late delay. Too busy lately..

I don't have that issue, both looks exactly the same and they are really bright. Make sure you connected the cables tight, if you can sort it out, I would contact the seller. Sorry about that man.

Just for the record, these taillights are really bright with direct sunlight. I don't think you can find some brighter than these.

i can't wait to see your results. Also, just to help you, you don't need to remove the OEM tail light, just unplug the OEM plug, put the led tail light in the trunk and plug it into led tail lights in order to test them before perfact installation because 1 out 4 bolts are hidden. its not that hard to find but also not that easy to find so.....

You're welcome.

I did cut the cable tie on one side to relieve a tight wire. However, I velcro wrapped it again after mounting the "ballast" and relieving the wire.

Do you think cutting white cable tie could be the reason why my turn signals are not working? I really want to get this lights working. They are so hot!!!! please help me if you could!!!

Sorry for the huge pics, i'm technologically impaired right now. Quick recap - no errors, no issues, they work perfect .. look great. everyone is right so far, the pictures dont do them justice. they look really amazing. Only downside so far is the noise. its audible from outside the car with the trunk closed if you're in a silent setting (in the garage at night). definitely not a big issue though w/the car running or from a couple feet away

Thumbs up

What a great find. Thanks to the original poster for sharing. These are the best looking ebay tail lights by far!

They replicate the facelift OEM perfectly without the headache of re-programming.... Love it!

Hope they come back into stock again soon.
