So one of my mirrors makes a weird noise when folding in and out once every so often. I read that it was a problem and that's the reason why they were removed in 09. My question is there a way to disable this automatic folding? Thanks

Yes you can remove it. Go through the options on your steering wheel and it's in one of the selections. Sorry I'm not exactly that good of help with exact instructions, but yes. You can!

Mine does it all the time and I think it's awesome. Haha.. like a puppy whining when they see you after work.

Lol. I don't mind the whining noise just scared of the fact that it might decide not to work one day

I went through the auto wash one day and it folded in my right mirror when it was suppose to be folded out. Left was out, right was in. Had to stop, fold them in (the right one went CLICK super loud), then unfold. Sometimes feels like a hassle. But just the other day I was going into a store and a guy stopped and asked me if I could program his mirrors to fold in when he locks his doors too. Kinda makes the whining worth it. If it comes down to it, I'm unfolding the mirror with my hands.

Use the arrows on the left .. Go through the menu(press till u see setting)
Press ok.. Go down to convenience,press ok. Ok again so it say fold mirrors in when locking "disable".
Now have fun folding your mirrors in by hand haha
