Warranty void?
Spoke to a shop manager over the phone today to get a quote on getting my H&R ss installed. He was concerned and advised me that installing the aftermarket springs will void my warranty. Before I can ask which warranty he said he would have to call me back because he has client waiting.
So this will void my entire factory warranty?

he's correct about the magnusson moss act... as long as you live in the US. Here in Canada the statute is mute. I went through this with a previous manufacturer who blamed my turbo timer for the physical oil feedline to the turbo failing... That being said, your warranty cannot just be voided... for anything. Should a problem arise that is attributable to the part then that specific concern will not be covered. Realistically they don't have to prove it was the only possible thing irrefutably; they just need to justify that it was a possibility. Unfortunately that is the reality of dealing with most dealers.

on a side note, we did a full solid axle swap onto one of my jeeps at my buddies place and just for ****s and giggles i took it in for a diff cover leak under warranty. The tech looked so beyond confused when it went on the hoist hahaha it took 5 techs, a service manager, and the visiting district manager before they figured it out
