Finally got my taillights programmed properly! No error messages,no partial lit brake lights, no rear fog on. Works exactly like OEM even the fog switch works.

shipping to canada will be a nightmare, it has to go thru customs and shipping is outragous. i had to ship a dvd to someone and im in minnesota and it cost almost 20$ and it still took a week thru fedex.

 

Shipping might be a problem... Price was for group buy of 10 or more ! If you don't want to (and why would you ?) send rear SAM, here is the option:

Before reply above, I started a long write-up on the body computer etc. Here is the shortened version - can someone really reprogram SAM without having rest of the car ? SAM is just a router, not the PC...
My point is that SAM without the donor car will not do me any good and I do not have W204. There is a big chance I do not know the trick, but I do not know how to reprogram SAM without it being installed in the car - try changing router configuration without connecting PC to it (or PC alike).

Well, it is a rear SAM I need (was just trying to keep it simple calling it body computer and it is not really YOUR car, but 08-09 W204), bottom line is I need to find a donor car. If at least one person is in Toronto and I can borrow his 08-09 W204 for a day, all the rest can send me SAM units. Donor gets reprogramming for free with at least 9 additional SAM units in my possession at the time of reprogramming

I never tried it, but I highly doubt that old lights will work (others on the board might know better) as programming is quite different. Get the new lights and send the unit in. While SAM is in-flight, install new lights...
BTW - if someone in Toronto has 2010 and later car for upgrade, I know SAM is different, but I can try to reprogram at no-charge. Worst that could happen, I will say I cannot...
