Just bought my first Mercedes! Advice needed
Hey all,
I just bought my first Mercedes, been wanting one since I was little and now that I'm about to graduate college my parents got me one! It's a 2010 C300 4MATIC Sport, Steel Gray with black interior, Avant Garde, P2, MM w/ Nav, iPod...lots of nice options and I can't wait for it to be delivered later in the week (live in OK, bought in RI).
Being new to Mercedes and all, I've been reading the forums for a couple weeks to try to and get a feel for what I should do to maximize my enjoyment of it. I'll do some mods when school slow down (probably over winter break) but for now and interior-wise I'm thinking iPod amp and 35% tint all over.
I'd love to hear everyone's feedback and suggestions on small things to buy/do that can quickly enhance my new MB!
P.S. I'm definitely going to replace speakers later but won't be able to until I have more time

welcome, I'm new too!
we just replaced my wifes old honda civic for a used 2010 c300 w/ less than 22k miles on it and the one thing I noticed is there is a ipod cable in the glovebox that looks beatup, i'm hoping it can be replaced...now when I plug it in it seems to charge my ipod, but there is no AUX button on the headunit lol, just radio and CD....am I missing something? I been searching these forums, but have not found the right spot...

thanks, i see in the manual it says press disc button repeatedly so I can see the "aux" options... i'm pretty sure I tried that already, but i'll try again tomrw... will plug iphone into ipod cable (in glove box), then press disc button few times and see I finally get to see an AUX menu/source on the screen... I dont have the pop up/fold out big screen, just the base radio (which I take it has no sat options either, since I havent seen them either)

Thanks for the heads up! How much fluid should be on the work order if they actually changed it in the torque converter? I've been seeing that many shops don't usually change it in the TC unless you specifically ask so I'd like to make sure they do it when I ask.
