A few DIY videos to help others

Hey Guys,

I purchased my first MB a few months ago and I have really enjoyed it. I now own a White 2009 MB C300. I honesly don't like any of my cars to look or sound like the one that might pull up beside me. I don't have a whole lot of money to do modifications but I do what I can with what I have.

I had been looking for information on how to remove the rear seats so that I could install a subwoofer in my C300. I found very little information when it came to detailed pictures or videos. While I was doing some mods I decided to record my efforts to help others in the future. Here is the step-by-step of what I did:

W204 Rear Seat Removal - YouTube.com
W204 Subwoofer and Amp Install - YouTube.com
W204 Sub After Install Performance - YouTube.com
W204 Service Indicator Reset - YouTube.com

I will most likely do some more videos about the on-going modification that I will be doing to the car. If you guys have any questions or would like to see something specific please let me know.

I just ordered some 3M 1080 Gloss Black vinyl so I will most likely make a video of me doing the roof warp. It will most likely be 2 weeks or so from now as I am in the middle of moving accross the country.

Thank you for the videos. Which LED's are you using for your fogs?

I have not upgraded my speakers yet. I am not too disappointed with the stock speakers for now. As far as audio goes, I have been focusing on the sub/amp install. I am currently working on being able to stream music through my phone via bluetooth and increasing the input volume.

I did not have a volume problem with the Ipod Integration kit but once I started using the Aux port I noticed a huge difference between the volume of the radio and the volume playing through the Aux port.

After that I plan on baking my headlights and painting the insides.

Just made an easy to follow video of how to reset the service indicator for the W204. I added it to the list. Good luck guys.

I'm about ready to install an amplified sub in the trunk and attach it to the underside of the rear package shelf. In order to get to the wiring of the HK sub, I need to remove the shelf cover on the inside. Are there any secrets to this removal?
I'm guessing the C300 HK setup is the same as the C63.
Thanks in advance.

I did try to video me installing the roof vinyl but I hit some issues and had to finish the job off cam.

I wish I had the HK set up in my car as it would have been easier to run the sound wire to the amp from the Pre-existing sub. Since I didn't have the HK sub I didn't have to take off the shelf but to do so you will need to take off the pilar panels that are above the shelf. I beleive it will just pop out from there but I am not too sure as I did not full remove it.
