Lost LED in eyelid housing

After replacing all 3 bulbs perfectly I get to the far passenger side bulb, and somehow manage to make the LED fall out of the socket when I attempted to put it back into the housing. Anyone have any suggestions on how to retrieve it? I can't fit my fingers into the housing and have no way of seeing where the LED actually is.

Needle nose pliers, awkward bending, patience. You actually can see inside the housing if you are looking upside-down. If you can't seem to get a view, you'll have to dig around gently with the pliers.

I had to take the headlight out, bake it, then take off the lens and out popped my LEDs.

It wasn't that hard seriously.

While your at it, spray the headlight inserts before you replace the outer lens.

Just leave it in there and put in another bulb. Easiest way. Haha jk sorry...but yea you would have to bake it to take it apart.

I've done that before, in the end I just left it and one day while changing my lowbeam bulb I saw it just sitting there ans snagged it up.

that's the easier easy, if your not good at projects like taking apart the headlight don't attempt it. Good Luck OP.

hmm, is there anything that could happen if I get a new bulb and drive around with one somewhere in the housing? I'm pretty busy between work and classes and was hoping this would be a quick mod lol so I probably won't get around to removing the headlight for a while.

What i did was attach a drinking straw, cut at a 45 degree angle, to a shop vac. The suction was strong enough to pull it right out no problem.

I'm going to try using a string with double sided tape to fish around for it, if that doesn't work I'll try the vacuum method. If not looks like I'll have to order another LED. Wish me luck haha.
