Comand Volume knob inop
The volume knob on my 2008 c350 comand unit stopped working. The steering wheel volume buttons still work. Has anyone had this happen?
My car is out of warranty, and I would guess the whole unit has to be replaced.

Just purchase a radio from a junk yard and remove the volume button from it and install it on the comand. I did the same thing two month ago for the same reason. I got my radio for $80.00 here in Florida.

Changing pulse pots on a Comand is a big pain. Try pulling the main Comand fuse & rebooting the unit before you contemplate pulling it apart.
