How do you guys drive your C?
Sup guys,
Just wondering on how you guys drive your C-classes? I've been trying to baby mine, but I have floored quite a few times. Coming from a Honda Prelude that I floored everyday, it's pretty hard to control my lead foot. I keep telling myself that I'm in a Benz and it's not an AMG lol.
I'm just curious how others drive and can the C-class take hard driving.

Ive been told I drive like mario andretti, not surprising with 8 points on my license and only 21...
with that I am hitting pot holes, putting in regular gas, for all I know cars never had the 39,000 service, and my car.. Drives like its almost new.
Don't put to much effort into it, in the end its just a C class (at least thats how I think of it and a car, much more to worry about in life)
oh and the 8 points JK that was when I was 17, I only have 3 now

I am 23 and feel I have matured over the years as far as driving habits are concerned. I get about 21-22 mpg and thats 90% city driving! I keep it under 2.5k rpms while driving...I floored my w208, e46, and e90, but for some reason just want to keep it slow and steady with the w204

I almost never baby my car. I drive my car like an amg.On a crazy day my city MPG is like 13-16 and I used e85 once and got 10?! Never using that carp again! Some how I have yet to get a speeding ticket ? If I am on the hardy toll road I go wild. I dont go slower than 95 unless their is a cop or I cant get arownd a car. But most of the time I dont take corners fast.

Much of the time, my tach rarely goes over 2,500 around town - and mine seems to like to shift at ~4,000 under hard acceleration (not floored) - so I guess my 7G-tronic thinks I am an old lady. My average right now is 24.3 MPG combined over the past 2,000 miles since I reset it.
Out on the highway - I tend to get into it a lot more. I love the 40-100 pull this thing has.
On a nice day with the windows down and sunroof open, I'm more apt to wail on it - I love the noises this car makes.

Yea, I try to keep it tame but then I get to thinking about how much I love this car and then I drive it a little harder. I'm still going through my adjustment stage coming from a Toyota Camry. Wow

Traded in a CLK which routinely hit the electronic speed limiter. I drive it like I drive my Porsche, take hard right Exit ramps at 70 MPH! Bought the Sport model and got 18" AMG's for better handling.
Added the Juice Box for that extra kick, and use "S" mode most times.
BTW....I'm over 60 and build and maintain my P-car in my garage, then track it a number of times a year.

Drive it like you want to. Occasional highway "racing" with Audi's or bimmers. Or put it in cruise control at 72 mph on a 65. I used to do 85-90 on highways maybe 100 but after a ticket for 95 in a 65 on valentines day with a vase of flowers in my passenger seat. Kinda wakes you up.
Just as long as you drive responsible then do what you want. It's the idiots that THINK they can drive well and floor it that cause accidents and ruin not only their own lives but other people involved.
Just be smart and enjoy the luxury vehicle that you have.

For me it all depends on the time, the place and the conditions.
Mostly it's driven conservatively however I do enjoy spirited driving when circumstances and/or place allow it - either way it is always with a measure of respect for the vehicle

My C350 feels like it has more torque than my previous E60 M5 but I still drive it like a granny. I had a E46 328i and E92 335i before that and drove both like I stole it. Some reason, I don't drive as crazy as I use to in the MB.
