Aux input sound quality
I recently purchased a 2011 C300 and it has the auxiliary input and iPod hookup in the glove box. I plug my android phone in to play music but notice that the music sounds almost like its mono....like I cant hear certian insturments/sounds in the songs as I could hear when I had my phone hooked up in my caddy. Anyone else notice this? Is there anything I can do to fix it. Thanks!

Two suggestions: the female jack in the Android may have a short so it only plays one channel to both L/R inputs. The short can also cause a phase-summing L+R input that can cancel parts of the signal. Try another device and see if this exhibits the same deficiency.
Also the Aux, depending on the Audio 20 unit, has a -6 to -12 dB engineering fault in its input. Try and see if you have the Aux BOOST activated. If not, then PHP Audio sells the "Sound Shocker", an impedance matching transformer that can restore the attenuated signal.

Interesting, probably sourced from China, some of MB's iPod amps are also Chinese, not German-made, have 25% THD and actually reduce the volume instead of amplify it.
Make sure you put the Aux volume on BOOST. And the iPod volume on "8" with the EQ on "POP" for best sound quality. If this is still too low (also for an MP3 player which should never be used on its max volume) get a PHP Sound Shocker here:
