2012 W204 side mirror puddle lights
so I'm wondering if there's anything out there regarding this mod or DIY. Just trying to replace the bulb with a regular 194 LED. I searched but couldn't find anything helpful. What has to come off to get this done? Lol

supposedly, if you tilt the mirror all the way down, you can see a clip holding on to the mirror. if you use a knife or something similar, you can pull that up and unlock the mirror showing the motor and what not. from there you have to remove the cover of the motor or the whole motor itself to gain access to the puddle lights. so ive read. ive tried but i couldnt see any clip. i couldnt even see anything through the small gap. maybe if you push it down further with your fingers?

Can anyone confirm that the light bulb for thie side mirror puddle is a 194 wedge bulb?
