okay so this last summer I had a chrome theme going this upcoming summer I'm looking to either black out the whole car or carbon fiberize it heh. The car is 040 Black and I was looking into carbon fiber hoods, fenders , diffuser obviously, lip, pillars, spoilers, and grille. or just black everything out? opinions welcome.

Anything would be better than Chrome. I wish auto manufacturers would have left chrome back in the 80's with the Cadillac Brougham.

I agree with that partially but some cars do look very nice with chrome. I'm about to sell my 19" AMG chrome wheels and get black ones or black with machined trim

I personally am not a chrome guy. I try to eliminate all the chrome off on all my cars. My Lexus came with chrome rims, they came off the next day lol. I am a fan though of black as my three previous cars have all been black. I wouldn't put anything carbon fiber on the outside, besides maybe a front lip, that's about it. I do like carbon fiber trims on the inside of the car though. But to each of their own, just my .02 cents. Post pics of the car

This is a picture of this last summer, only had Wheels as a mod, just got spyder headlights installed, ill take some pictures tomorrow, im still trying to figure out if alot of carbon fiber would make it look sharper. If you wanna get the murdered out look, you gotta tint the front windows man lol. I plan on tinting my windshield after winter is over.

As for the fenders, I'm not really diggin it, but each to their own. I fee like those vents on the fenders are kind of ricey, and you have a benz man, not a Honda. Just keep it clean and simple. Remember, keep it classy, never trashy, just a bit nasty lol

they were tinted but I decided to take it down since here in Iowa 70% of light has to be coming through the front. Those fenders arent the original ones I had in mind but couldn't find them. ill keep looking but yes is never own a ricer looking car . just ugh haha

Reduction/removal of chrome bits = good IMO.
Addition of too many CF bits = bad IMO. Lip and spoiler, sure. Hood, fenders, and pillars would be too much. Pillars for sure would just be vinyl/overlays. Are you getting a real CF hood or going vinyl there as well?
I lean more towards the OEM+ look...

I'm planning on removing the chrome ish grille and getting a black or carbon fiber one and as for the hood this is what I had in mind
