Has anybody done a comand retrofit on a w204 in Ontario, Canada? I would like to get this done by a shop that has had experience doing this before. I'm not very tech savvy and I don't have the tools.

I have a 2008 c300 with an audio 20. I have bought the 6 disc comand unit, 7" screen, and the vents and fan package (with the GPS antenna). I have all the instructions but I'm too scared to mess up my car. I would like to take my car to somebody who is recommended, has done this work before, and can guarantee their work. Any suggestions?

Id love to find the same thing. from what I understand its not to bad but one part, Like having to remove the steering column to run a vent for the harddrive. wtf is with that?? I'd be good with everything but that. Finding help in the GTA would be awesome.

I just completed this retrofit only with the HK amp and speakers and UCI as well. Doing the HU and display is relatively easy. The hardest part on the install was the fan. I did it without removing the steering wheel which may be why it took me longer.

The best advice I can give you is to have a solid understanding of how it all fits together before you start. The instructions from comand online UK are pretty good but I also printed the startekinfo instructions and EPC parts pictures to get more familiar with everything.

That said if you are not a handy man with tools and electronics then find someone to do your install. However if you have simple mechanical skill this relatively easy. Just have great patience when you in the inverted position under the dash fighting to squeeze the fan parts into very right places. Make sure you have various lengths on your tork T20 drivers. You will need them.
