Here in Montreal they fix crack up to one inch by injecting glue. You better check that out asap because the crack can get a lot longer especially if you go to high speed or hit a good pot hole. I am sure in Tampa you can found very good windshield specialist or a glass doctor....

I had two cracked windshields in one year with each about the size of a quarter. Have it fixed asap before it gets worse. Your auto insurance usually waives any deductible for safelite to come out and inject it. Although not perfect in appearence it will look 90% better and protect the windshield from additional damage. I feel your pain....

Here it depends on where it is whether you can pass registration. Have it done professionally . It is not DIY unless you have the vacuum tool.About $50 here in Australia.Get a few quotes of course !!

Yes, it was my case also with my Porsche. I still can see it but at least I know it is filled with glue and the crack is not going to elongated....

they have diy kits that work like a charm and super cheap. However now that they've done a crappy job sealing it, I don't think you'll be able to redo it again. Unfortunately you're stuck with looking at the crack now unless you replace the whole windshield
