Which service do I do?
I have a 2012 C250 that I bough CPO in October with 15K miles. It had an oil change at 11K miles and then a service A at 15K miles with another oil change. It now has about 21.5K miles and the dash is indicating it needs a Service A again in 3500 miles (so at 25K miles).
Is that correct? The Mercedes dealer said to do the Service A at 25K miles and then the service B at 35K miles. Does that sound right to you?
Thanks

The last part sounds about right but the first didn't unless they just did a oil change to do a oil change to cpo it which they then should of did a b service instead of a a service cheap dealership cause it always goes a then b then a then b etc

Do you have a manual ?
All the details of servicing should be shown in the servicing booklet including the items which should be serviced in the A & B service. .
It is likely that who ever serviced your car earlier did not tick off the service (ie reset it) in your cars computer.
In my book it says the A service takes place every 25,000km or 12 months & the B service & the B service every 50,000 km or 2 years.
It is a great idea to know what should be done in each service & to check that the garage does it correctly with the right filter & oils.
Don't forget the auto trans service at 39,000 miles.
Good luck.

C220 CDI SLK 200
my book says the same but the service indicator comes on 15K miles
Asked my friendly service manager about this and I was told that the origional W204 diesels service intervals were originally designed with the older lubricants in mind but now with the latest lubes this can be extended to 25k
Dont believe but and still change my oils at 15k as it only cost $100 bucks

Good advice,
I do mine at 10,000 km with Shell Helix Ultra Extra 5w30 .It averages out just under a year anyway .
