Air ride gurus

Hey guys I have a great deal for a 5 gallon tank 2 260psi compressors all lines, switches, gauges, valves for 600$ is this a good deal?

Furthermore Im running d2 coils, can I just order brackets and bags from someone like ksport, airrex? and have a direct fit on my coils?

Don't do it! If you are going to do air ride do it right.

So far Airrex is the only bag/coil option for our cars, they'll cost about $2400 shipped. That doesn't include any management mind you.

based on research all air ride is the same. Management may be more high tech, but simplicity from basic universal is ok. Bags are the same, but air rex uses hallowed double barrow meaning more low, this can be fixed with a universal setup of smaller bags. Brackets are all jsut metal can make my own. Am I right? IDK I dont know much about bags just my research

I'm sure if you are technically inclined to do all the fab work yourself it can be done but why waste all the time and energy only to risk damage to you or your car to save a little money?
It's personal opinion on my part but I don't see the benefits of saving a small amount of money on a hacked together set up. Buy the stuff that was engineered for your car, bolt up and done. I have all my airride stuff at my warehouse and will get it installed as soon as I have time.

Hmm sounds good the only thing I can save money is on the air management then. I contacted ksport and airrex they said they make brackets and bags for the car, so technically Im just going for a basic setup thats going to end up with me spending very little! and risk damage would be minimal to none on air setups am I right? What can go wrong only the bags poping and my car sitting on the floor

Airrex struts and Airlift autopilot V2 management. Had lots of friends on Accuair E-level and all switched to the airlift system and are much happier so I listened to them

None
I have had 9 bagged rides since I was 16 (30 now)

I would put some sort of air management system on the car to keep your mercedes at the same height.

You are asking for trouble if you go with a typical setup that just has switches and air gauges.
