2011 C300 4matic ipod integration kit?
Hey guys,
I got myself into a huge pile of ****... so I purchased a used w204 w/o the comand MM installed. So i retrofitted the comand and everything is great. my problem now is the Universal Media interface or UMI that was factory installed is no longer working with the comand. any thoughts on it? the UMI is for ipod integration and the AUX line. my comand only shows the "aux" in audio and ipod is no longer an option to chose. is the UMI not compatible with the comand unit?
On a side note, the AUX does not receive any audio and sometimes it does, i've tested the AUX cable and it was fine. The AUX connector is the one coming from the UMI and not the 3.5mm jack on the side of the glove box.
Can someone please help me out?

Are you sure it is UMI and not an iPod interface?
To understand your vehicle originally had audio 20, you have changed the display and swapped the audio 20 for a COMAND unit correct?

UMI is not compatible with COMAND. You will need to remove SA code 56o (dealer) and you will need to install an iPod interface. Other option is just to install an audio in jack.

I have audio 20 currently I'm looking to upgrade to command as well. So you can get iPod integration with command but not umi? Then how do you stream music to your car then?
