Check engine light
Check engine light
Driving last night on the high way for a good 30 minutes - check engine light popped up. Its about 30 degrees in NJ FYI.
Looked at my thermostat and my car was at about 80 degrees which is warm but not how hot the car typically runs. Figured it was cold didn't pay much attention figured it was the gas cap.
Ha the heat on full blast and the thermostat went down to almost 40 which freaked me out - turned heat off went back up to 80 degrees but was jolting.
Have an OBD scanner somewhere going to check out the code - heard it could be p0128 which is a faulty thermostat -- does the CPO warranty cover this if its the case?
Why wouldnt the check coolant light come on if I needed it?
