4matic c300 ET35
Guys, I been searching online and I wanted some feedback, I know that its ok to run staggered wheels on a 4matic, now I am looking to buy some wheels, the specs are front 18.8.5 ET45 and 18.9.5 ET35, tires size 225/40 front and 255/35 rear, i know the 35 ET is going to stick out in the rear and its going to be aggresive, I have the stock sport suspension, will they rub?? And will the ET mess up my 4matic??

You are going to have to stretch a tire to make it work with absolutely no rubbing. It will look weird if you have not lowered the car in my opinion.
The following is what the tire will look like on the wheel (pretty much.) Most likely you will have the tread of the tire running outside of the rear fender in what the car world calls "mexi-poke."

You may also be able to get away with that with minimal rubbing because you don't want to stretch the tire and undersize the width too much that it looks like a rubber band wrapped around the wheel. Another thing to consider is since you are going with a low profile and such a small offset if you decide to get a narrow tire you wheels will be more susceptible to bending and curb rash.
In my not so professional opinion if you have a burning desire for such a low offset I would only go with the 255 if they come on the wheels and then go from there. If you have to buy tires for the wheel I would not go with that size.
Check out tyrestretch.com and look at the pics of different sizes. Good Luck!!

Thank you for your reply, how about if I did 18.8.5 with a 45ET all around and ran 225/40 front and rear 255/35 would that work and not mess up the 4 matic?
