I think we need to be careful in this thread.

Some of us are driving vehicles with direct injection and others are not.

In my case, I'm driving a '12 C300 4matic (without DI of course). And I hit around 20mpg in the city, and max out around 28-29mpg in the highway (if I baby it).

I'm surprised some of the #'s on this thread are roughly the same as mine (and those cars have DI).

Weird.

Anyone that knows me knows I drive with a lead foot..

Mine is like an every other weekend car with round trip of 200 plus miles, 95% highway. Couple of time I reached 32 MPG with light foot and not going over 80 MPH, just wanted to find what I could get. "Normally" it is like 27 - 29 MPG on the same trip.

So far on the longest trip (300 mi) of mostly highway driving (Avg 70 MPH), I average about 24.5 mpg. In city driving, I am frequently around the 14-15mpg mark (in significant stop/go). Lets hope this improves!

I live in NE as well, but on long trips (Ave 70 MPH) I can get 28-30 mpg. I have a 2013 C300 Lux and mileage is at 62000. My weekly mix of city and highway, I average 25 MPG. It is about what I was getting in my 2002 Toyota Avalon.

I have driven from Buffalo to Boston on a single tank, approx. 450 miles (not much left mind you!).
For 3.5L V6, I can't complain.

2014 C300 Sport 4Matic
2014 C300 Sport 4Matic in the past ownership of 2 months haven't had any long trip (just been very busy) mostly city commute with total round trip of 5-6 miles average speed of 15-20 mph and my mpg has been 13-14 mpg in Boston with frequent stop and go traffic.

Longest trip has been like 50 miles once on highway avg speed 60 mph where i got 25-26 mpg.

Probably will test the mileage during summer as i am planning on couple of 400-500 mile trips. Will keep you updated.

Current Mileage is 21800.

The computer is a little high (calculated mileage is a little lower), but I'm happy with the mileage
