SAM coding options?
Hi guys,
It may be a silly thing to ask, but when I had my MKV VW GTI we used VAG-COM to enable european spec menu options in the MFD which I guess is the what we call COMAND in our cars. For example after programming I was able to control how long the auto headlights stay on after turning off the car and control a bunch of other options that were other wise set to a standard on US spec models.
Is it the same with MB or do they all have the same basic menus? It just seems like after coding my VW to EU spec I was able to really control the already computer controlled features of the car. My C300 4M has very few settings that you can control and I live in the mountains and would love my lights to stay on a little longer while I walk to the house from the driveway.
Sorry if it all sounds crazy but its a huge thing in the VW/ADUI/PORSCHE scene and I thought maybe it could be done with our cars too.

So after reading up on the subject. There were a few that mentioned switching the car to ROW rest of world to free up some menus in the cluster on the eclass. Have any of you done this to the C class?
Maybe that would help some of you with "tunnel mode" setting.
