Will a rear sport bumper fit on my luxury 2008 or no? If so, does anyone have one for local pickup or shipped? I'm in VA now.

Really? Awesome! My concern was because the luxury doesn't have a diffuser with its bumper.

With that being said, does anyone have an 08 - 11 sport bumper for sale?

the diffuser wont affect much instead it can make the car look more sportier.
remember to change the tips too to suit the new look.
for bumpers i think you can get it at ebay or parts.com

Cool, thanks! There are a bunch on eBay being sold from Texas that all seem to be damaged... maybe parts.com is a better option this time.

Slowc: Cool man. You have the luxury as well? I think I remember seeing your post about wanting a diffuser on your Luxury. Don't go the Carlsson route as they suggested. It's significantly cheaper to purchase a new bumper with a diffuser. I ordered the C63 look-alike C300 bumper from eBay. I am getting it fitted tomorrow, with the assumption that they painted it this time... I'm also installing parking sensors as well. I will keep you posted and let you know how it goes. If it goes well, I will recommend the eBayer I purchased it from.

Abort! Abort! Abort!

So, I just got back from the body shop. This is a big negative. Our car (Luxury) has a reinforcement bar that will not fit any other bumper (no matter what sellers may tell you). It juts out about 2" too far. Now I am in the process of trying to get the bumper back to its primed state, and then hopefully be eligible to return the bumper to the manufacturer.

I am also not sure if the diffuser by Carlsson made expressly for the Luxury would even fit either, given that the current spot for the diffuser is fused to the bumper.

What?!???!? That's crazy. I figured it would fit I called carID they said the w-1 bumper from duraflex would fit my car with slight modification ........

Of been safer If you just got the sport rear bumper not c63 style?

Oh well. I've given up on it. The place said that it was supposed to fit my trim, but if I can't trust the seller, I doubt I'll be trusting any other sellers anytime soon.

**** man, I almost bought same exact one! I can get one from duraflex w-1 rear bumper shipped for 415. The people at carID were 100 % sure it would fit my chassis even though its a luxury.... Weird! And the description specifically says wont work with amg or sport models.... So what else is it supposed to fit if it doesn't on the luxury ?!?

Post some pics or links up of your ride. My dealer is saying my car is sport but its not the same as the ones I'm seeing only I wanna see yours and go from there before I buy a diff bumper.
