so I've been having strange issues . first weird hissing air blown g sound when they replaced the instrument cluster and now I noticed my pipes are louder. almost sounds like I have an magnaflow just when car is sitting in park . any idea

not sure what your issue is but I have been following some of your threads and I have to say either your car is cursed or you have the worst luck ever its like issue after issue I see you post!!!

 

yeah unfortunately this MB dealership doesn't like doing proper work . Seems like the more they try to fix an issue another one comes up.

Sounds like you have a crack in the exhaust before the resonator or the muffler. Shouldn't be hard to find. Easy fix as well. Don't get too discouraged.

 

Louder all the time or just at first startup in the morning/after the car's been sitting for hours? If it's the former, then that's normal. Morning startups sound really good for those of us with x-pipes.

 

Louder in the mornings . Almost sounds like I have an xpipe. I don't mind it of its normal upon sitting for awhile just wanted to make sure that its nothing bad.
