Wheel Arch Paint-less Dent Removal

Hey guys,

So I'm walking to my Benz all proud, i'm pulling the keys out my pocket and then i see it ...two small dents on the wheel arch on my rear fender. I'm like WTF!!! ..seriously, that was my face. LOL

I'm trying to stay calm and i'm like to myself, hey, this can be taken out with paintless dent removal process.

So I take it to Mercedes where they have a guy that comes in 3 times a week for PDR processes. The body shop coordinator at Mercedes tell me to leave it alone, cause its not possible to remove it from the wheel arch because theres a metal plate welded behind wheel arch. Then he says TGIW (Thank god it's white) cause my car is white and it's hard to notice it. ...AGAIN, I'm like WTF!!! LOL

So when I'm about to lose hope, i google wheel arch pdr and see on an Audi forum that someone was experiencing the same thing. And a member told him that it's definately possible, and that a GOOD pdr can remove dent without actually getting behind the dent.

So my question to you is if anyone experienced a dent on their wheel arch and had any luck with a PDR? Any recommendations? I live in the NY area.

Dents on a Benz really blows.

I had the rear drivers side damaged by a runaway shopping cart. They claim they escort all customers to their cars- LIARS!!!
I called the local PDR the dealer uses. For $120 he fixed a large 6-8" dent on my rear drivers door (caused by me after major surgery), the wheel arch dent from the shopping cart and a dent right below the rear license plate where a luggage handle hit. If I didn't tell you where- you would never find the spots. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

That's awesome! The miracles that Paintless Dent Removal can do! By the way, I guess I kind of answered my own question above. I called some PDR shops and one told me that the wheel arch on our cars have a metal welded behind, which is why going in from behind is hard to do. But the way to do it from the front of the dent is through 'Glue Pulling' and he'll try that on my car.

Hopefully it works!

I watched the repair- Maybe because mine was on the edge but it was repaired from the back. If I reach around the back I can feel a slight ridge but it is not visible even with the wheel removed.
