Hey everyone!

So i finally decided to create a thread of my own to present my Mercedes W204. The car I'm driving is a 2007 220 CDI RWD Manual. It arrived from the factory with 17" wheels, Elegance finish (Luxury in the US), Comand APS, front heated seats, Intelligent Light System, Panoramic roof and that was bascially it from the extra options. I've decided to make some modifications. I love the way it looks so I never wanted to change the Elegance finish to Sport/Avantgarde. I drive the car a lot and I really enjoy it, especially now after I have tackled the modifications which were bugging me from the very begining

Modification list:

Added Cruise Control
Rear windows tinted
Fitted folding rear seats
Custom leather upholstery by Java Car Design
Aftermarket rear view camera

Future modifications:

MY2010 front led DRL OEM
MY2012 tail lights OEM
18" summer alloys (looking for specific, C63 style rims, the multi-spoke ones, which will look good with the luxury design)
MY2010 mirrors
MY2012 steering wheel with custom leather matched to the car by Java Car Desing

Why is there a antenna on the trunk?

It's a CB Radio antenna, which in Poland is something very common. Many drivers use it (especially truck drivers, but more and more normal cars use it) to communicate about what's going on on the road. Usefull and sometimes helpfull when the Police is hunting

Finally finished all the work concerning the folding rear seats mod, installed new bottom plastic cover from the cars with factory folding seats:

Nice! It is always nice to see another Elegance/Luxury model out in the world.

Just curious, here in the U.S. most W204s appear to be Sport models. How is it in Poland? More Luxury models, or do Sport/Avant Garde models still saturate the market? (BTW, my paternal ancestors are Polish, so it's interesting to me)

That is awesome! I am VERY interested in doing this mod. I have a 2008 c300 sport without the folding seats and there have been many times I could have used this feature. Any information would be appreciated. Part #'s, cost, where you ordered the parts, instructions, pictures, etc. Thanks so much!

Avantgarde models are the ones you see most on the road, but Elegance is far more popular than in the US from what I can see, at least based on what I can see on this forum :-)

Very Good job, my former car was BLK/BLK and it looked pretty good too. And I truly enjoyed the folding seats after I installed them. I am probably gonna do that same to my E-class, after I get the folding mirror retrofit working (US E-class cars do not come with folding mirrors).

Hello,
At last I see someone that apreciates the elegance model over the avantgarde. In a few days my own elegance will arrive and I am very impresed with the car you have. It is just perfect, the exterior color blends in a very elegant way with the interior.
I would also like to make some modifications. I want the Comand system, even if the car haves navigation right now. I would also like the Harman/Kardon sound system, the new steering wheel style and a few others. Have you completed other mods on the car?

Thanks for all the kind words, I'm happy to hear about another Elegance fan, the car truly looks like a proper limousine just as I wanted :-)

As for the other mods, I've got the wheels I wanted, but they're equipped with summer tires, so I'll post some pictures in this thread when I'll put them on in April :-)
