Wierd clicking/loose feel from gear selector.
Recently I have noticed a weird looseness/clicking feel when i rest my hand on the gear selector. It is a 2011 C300 RWD Sport. I notice it when i accelerate, brake, go over bumps, and turn. I only feel it at slower speeds from 0-35 after that I'm not on and off the gas much. It has progressively gotten worse, but its not so bad that its a big deal. Its just one of those little things that aggravates me when i drive. I have removed the shifter boot and looked down the shift gate but see nothing out of the ordinary. I have not lifted it up yet to look. Anyone else experience this or have any ideas what it may be? Thanks.

I've got the same issue... have you found out what causes it? I have also noticed that it is getting worse. When I first bought the car it was doing it only in P when I released the brake. Now I feel the clicks almost every time I shift from D to P...
