Cool Which type of quad tips?

Hey all,

What type of quad tips do I need? As in, how the tips are joined together. I am converting my bumper to the C63 style with the diffuser and all.

Do I need this kind:

or this kind:

Also, if anyone is selling on the forum for the type that I would need for my 2008 C300, feel free to post it here.

Thanks!

you'll need the first kind where the pipe is offset

Thanks. How do you know which joint for the pipes to get? I saw one individual had the second picture. Just curious.

I don't believe the second one will fit. I think that's for the E-class.

The muffler outlet is not on the center of the diffuser cut out for the tips. But a bit to the side. The second one would need some modification to work! And I think the first ones, being longer, will definitely look better

Thank you guys again for the great information! I will post some pics once my bumper has been painted, swapped-out, and the tips have been welded on.

Quick question guys: This thread at the bottom: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-c...-diffuser.html

has the non-offset one, but it appears to still be a W204. Thoughts? Is it because it's for the newer diffuser, perhaps?

IDK if you noticed, but that car has no mufflers. You can still use the ones with the central outlet, its just that it'll require more work at the muffler shop.

Op, the C300 has dual tips and you're just converting them to quad tips right? If so, get the first one with the offset. If you're doing custom straight pipe, either will work.

Thanks man. Yeah, I'm just going from the dual to the quad (first scenario).

Is it possible to put these quad tips on a Eisenmann system?
And if so, would it change the sound?

I would love to convert my future c350 4matic to a c63 with a Eisenmann system,
but with AMG tips the conversions would be complete haha!

Thanks!
