So does anyone know how to remove the metal piece on the trunk? mine is slightly lose and i want to figure out how to fix it

I'm interested in this as well. The chrome below the Mercedes emblem on the trunk if I'm correct.

so i looked at the sticky for this and it didnt really help me, i am still really confused on how to remove it

The chrome trim and the black plastic part that holds the license plate lights comes off together. It is one piece. You have to remove the trunk lining, 4 screws, some clips, and pull the whole thing down. You maybe able to separate the chrome part after, but you may also break it.
