Guys, are we confusing shipping with bench flash ? Bench flash means taking ECU out and doing the flash "on the bench".
Mike, maybe we can set the date when people bring vehicles over to my shop, we will take all ECUs out and you will come over and flash them ? Just something to think about...

Just got my cable yesterday and Mike asked me to contact Adam from EC to get my tune done. But according to Adam
"Our new software allows you to flash the car yourself. Just plug in the USB flash drive that was provided and download the software. After you open it, just click the getting started link and watch the video with the instructions."
So gonna take a look at it over the weekend

dyno tune, is always tailored to your car specifically....safe, and may squeeze out a few more ponies and give it best driveability...dont get me wrong my e55 has a box tune, but with mods i think a dyno tune and a tuning on the roll is the way to go..
friend had sl55 recently done by jerry at EC made like 30 dyno pulls to get the car absolutely perfect...

- I'm going to buy another 2 years of extended warranty, and want to know how does this effect the warranty also?
- Any word on what's the group-buy price for this ECU flash/tune?
- Finally, does this tune help the laggy transmission shift in any way to improve it (and I don't mean 0-60 which isn't really that bad on the C230 2.5. I mean the the super slow downshift for rolling acceleration after braking that is horrible on this car. You brake from 140 down to 90 and it's still in 7th gear trying to accelerate like snails pace).
