Don't feel bad, spent $300 on a rear diffuser with mediocre fitment.

Should have done your research. There seems to be fitment issues with all the single bar grills.

What should you do? You should either modify it so that it fits properly, live with it as is or send it back to the seller for refund. That's about it.
You could, of course, ask for a replacement to be sent, but that will most likely not fit 100% either.

All of the aftermaket grills seem to have a fitment issue with the chrome frame at the top. It's much less noticable on dark coloured cars.
I think it has to do with the subtly complex shape of the edge of the hood which is slightly curved in one direction while have a slightly pointed shape in the other direction.
I bought a new style single-bar grille that has a two-piece frame which is supposed have a better fit. I bought it last December and didn't have the time to paint and install it.
Maybe I will tackle it this weekend after hearing a lot on grills on this forum lately.
