I'm planning to buy a "lightly used" C250 or C300 from 2009-2010 with 50-60'000 km. Since I'm in Canada, my only choice is 4matic option with 2.5-3.0 engines.

Is there something particular to be aware of? Any common problems to check for?

I just got mine a few weeks ago, an '09 also from Canada

Check the vehicule service history of the car, if it had regular service A and B maintenance. Check if it had the tranny fluid change yet (if not do it), same for brake fluid change.

Check the rear tailight connectors if the brown wire (ground) has started to melt. You need to unplug the connector to see this.

Check if you hear some type of chirping sound when driving/using the heater/AC at different power levels. This sound would come out near the glove compartment where the blower motor is located.
