Plasti Dipped Grille

Left the chrome; plasti-dipped the rest. Very easy. The toughest part was getting the damn grille back on the car!

Thanks. The M3 drivers like my plate too. At least I think they do. When they pass me, they always put their hand out the window and tell me I'm number one!

Looks fantastic.
I'm maybe planning on doing this to my grille this upcoming weekend. Did you mask the chrome or coat the entire thing, and peel it off of the chrome?

I ended up doing mine Plastidip and then just painting it. IMO its much easier to remove the grill and the chrome strips. Only tool required is a flat head screwdriver. Grill pops out with your hands, push hard on the bottom of grill in center rt and lf of star and use the screwdriver to pop the T brace off the back of the star as you lift to remove the grill. Then also use the screwdriver to pop the chrome strips off from the back. This way no masking required and a real clean job is easy to get.

Should take 5 minutes to remove the grill and another 5-10 to remove the chrome. Ive got some pictures in my album
