Question Parking Sensor Fitment Issue

Hi all,

I recently purchased a C63 rear bumper look a like for my C300. It came with the parking sensor holes which my car did not originally come with. The sensors do not fit the bumper as they are too large. I was told by a body shop that they would rather not drill and make the holes bigger on a new PP bumper. Are they correct not to? If so, do any of you know of parking sensors that are smaller than 22mm?

Thanks!

Dont see what their issue is really , all they need is a cone cutter
drill or a step drill and then just ream the existing holes out to the right size. other way is to make a jig up out of some wood and then use a holesaw of the right size to enlarge the holes. My choice would be the cone cutter .

Cool, thanks. I'm not sure either as to their concern. I'll run it by the actual bodywork guy instead of the front desk guy.
