The photos show a more evolutionary than dramatic redesign except for the more rounded rear end.
Here's the Autocar article:
The latest spy shots have emerged of the next Mercedes C-class undergoing development laps at the Nurburgring. It is due to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show next March.
Mercedes has been explicit in its intentions to aim the fourth-generation C-class at a younger audience through more dramatic styling and increased levels of technology.
The C-class will grow in physical size and sophistication following the arrival of the CLA, which occupies a similar price point to the current C-class saloon. It's expected to measure 4700mm, 100mm up on the third-generation car. This will make it longer than the BMW 3-series and similar in size to the Audi A4. Underpinned by Mercedes' new MRA (modular rear-wheel drive architecture) platform, the entry-level C160 is expected to weigh significantly less than 1400kg.
All of the engines offered in the C-class will be turbocharged, ranging from a 2.0-litre entry-level unit to a 3.0-litre, 330bhp V6. Diesel buyers will be catered for by a 2.1-litre engine in four states of tune, from 120bhp to 220bhp. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 will feature in the range-topping AMG version. Four-wheel drive C-class models will also be offered in RHD for the first time.
Every C-class will use adaptive damping and the latest in-car networked internet connectivity. A raft of safety equipment from the E-class will also feature.
These spy shots reveal the C-class to be sleeker than the current model, an impression aided by the increase in wheelbase length. The design of the rear closely resembles the next S-class, whilst the exhaust pipes are similar to those seen on the CLA. From the front, the C-class is recognisable from today's model whilst borrowing cues from the recently-revised E-class.

According to a Autoweek the next c class will be unveiled at Detroit in January. Maybe they will follow the same pattern as the CLA and show only the press and release photos at Detroit and include the actual vehicle in the show at Geneva.
