Please tell me if mine is amg style or not!

Hi,

My 2008 c300 sport 4matic driver side fog light cover is broken, so im trying to find one online.
Here is the problem. I found out that I need a round one, not oval one. But im not sure if I should buy the one with amg styling package or not. Since I bought mine used, I dont know if mine is with amg styling package.

So here is a picture of my 2008 c300's front bumper. Please anybody tell me if I should buy the fog light with amg style or without amg styling package.

Thanks a lot!

I had the same issue as you. I believe either should fit, but don't quote me (as I bought the AMG styling one; which means Sport if I recall correctly).

thanks for replying. so you think either one would fit as long as it is round?
but the price are so different. One with amg styling is like $88, but without amg is like $40.

you need the round (sport/AMG styling) one. the oval ones won't fit.

Trust me on the one -- the $88 one is correct. I already wasted money on the $44 one, and it did not fit.

Good luck.

Thanks man. then Ill go with that one. Is it easy to replace it by yourself? or have to go to the shop?

Honestly, it would be a pain without a lift. I'd recommend taking it in, unless you have a lift. It should only take them about 30 minutes to replace both; that shouldn't be much cost in labor.

Cheers!

Driver side is terrible to do. Even with a tiny screwdriver I still had to take the wheel liner off and unbolt the washer fluid tank to get it out of the way to change the fog light. Passenger side is much easier as there's a lot of room to work with there.

This!

Dont get the cheap one. I made the same mistake and it was oval. Look at the link below and get the ones w/amg. It's where I got my passenger one a week ago (it's OEM, round, and comes from Mercedes dealer in Naperville, IL) and fits perfect and easy to install. There's a field where you can put your VIN number so they can check if you're ordering the right part. It's $92.40 with shipping comes total to $108.26. Also get lamin-x on it as most everyone recommended to protect the lens.
