New Guy - Dumb Questions
Hello everyone,
OK - I have a few dumb questions. My car didn't come with a manual and I searched online but I still cant find this info.
1. What is the small button on the door handle. I was assuming that it was suppose to unlock the doors, but its not doing anything for me.
2. What are rear fog lights, and how do I turn them on ?
3. The headlight switch has a bunch of settings. I know A is automatic, and then you can turn the headlights on, but what are the other settings ?

1) If I am right this is the Keyless entry feature. You can have your keys in ur pocket and unlock/lock the door from that button on the door handles.
2) Rear fog light button should be beside the "Headlight" dial (the round dial that controls the activation of your headlamps/DRLs should you need to switch them off, mentioned in ur question 3). Rear fog lights look like a stitch or a zip, and when turned on, your dashboard should show a yellow icon.
3) i) Left-hand standing lamps,
ii) Right-hand standing lamps
iii) Parking-lamps, license plate, instrument lighting
iv) Auto headlamp mode/daytime running lamps
v) Low-beam/highbeam headlamps

The black button isn't a button. Its where you point the key fob when holding the unlock or lock button to open/close all the windows and sunroof before you get in. Cool feature I was glad came with my 2010 C300

Rear fog lamp is a singular red lamp in the driver's side rear tailllamp. It's meant to be used in inclement weather so drivers can tell where the corner of your car is for overtaking.
Please don't use it in normal weather conditions. It is bright and can be blinding to people behind you. It also makes those of us who know what it is and for think someone misusing it is a tool that should be destined to drive a Kia Rio for all eternity.
