Got a call from the mothership

Currently I have a problem with the dealership selling me a CPO that shouldn't have been certified at all. dealership knows this and failed to acknowledge it. I emailed the mothership in Germany and received a call from them, they sided with me and were shocked that MBUSA is not doing anything to help. At the end of the conversation , I got a don't worry ill take care of it and give you a call tomorrow . WOW. just wanted to share my story with everyone and in the future if you have problems with a dealership or MBUSA hopefully my story helps. ill keep you updated.

Thanks for stepping it up Mercedes.

What leads you to conclude that it should not have been certified?

Several maintenance services were not done before selling, rotors, brakes , visual defects and so many problems within one year are to just name a few

Are you saying that as part of the CPO process they are required to install new brakes even if the current ones are still in good shape? Our CPO'd car certainly didn't have it done prior to our purchase either.

no because if that were the case I wouldn't have had brought up brakes . There's a certain amount that's able to pass as CPO. Either way if they certify the vehicle and one thing does not meet the guidelines and they don't fix it there's absolutely no reason it can be CPO then.

Unless you have documentation and measurements from the day the car was purchased, I think you are going to have an uphill battle.

Update: GM at the dealership is going to give some options to consider this upcoming Monday , I will post them on here and would appreciate it for some input.
