For those who have a 2010 C300. Do we have a Kickdown button below our pedal? I don't feel anything below my pedal however the manual states something like that and I drove a C250 with that.

It's supposed to. It might be broken - mine is currently broken on my 2012.

Possibly. I'm going to have to grab a mirror and flashlight to go inspecting unless someone can comment for sure.

The C250 I drove had a distinct click when the pedal was pushed hard. Mine does nothing.

My 2011 (14k miles) has no kickdown either.

W204 MY 2008 - 2010 with 7GTronic has a kickdown switch. Starting MY 2011 eliminated the switch. The elimination would be critical if the kickdown switch ever worked. Cant find that it does because of the horrible unresponsive 7G transmission, making the switch or not a moot point. Obviously not included in the manual transmission model.

The 2012s and 2013s have a kickdown switch.

Yes that is correct, 2012-13 does have the kickdown switch (with the introduction of the 4 cyl C250). The question is: why doesn't it WORK?

Mine is the 7 speed auto....but no clicky switch

I know it doesn't appear to work but it sucks even more when you are supposed to have something and it is broken.

Still waiting on someone who has this year model to say they have it

It always worked on my 2005 C230. I will test it on the 2013 C250 loaner I have tonight.

That will have it. My loaner did. This is why I brought the thread up. Because my 2010 does not. Just trying to get an answer before I schedule an appointment with MB over this.

It does. The 2013 C250 immediately shifts to the lowest gear when I click the switch. No delay at all.
