i don't have BC on my merc but I have BC with swift springs on my STI.

I compared my car with another STI with BC coilovers and original BC springs. It's a night and day difference.

The swift rides a lot nicer, absorb bumps better than original springs and you can spec out the spring rates that you want for front and rear.

What are the swift springs? Are they an option offered by BC or is it another manufacturer?

My C350 is my wifes daily driver and I can assure you that she would have made some comments if the ride would have been too stiff.

But I would always go for the better ride so if you can pay $300 and have a better ride just go for it. It's cheap money if the difference is there. Considering the time it would take me to switch the coil springs it would need to be a significant difference but if you are doing a new install just do it :-)

Swift springs are made by a different manufacturer which is known to make very nice springs.

They are an option offered by BC and I believe BC would do custom valving for the coilovers after once you decide to go with Swift springs

Thanks for posting that here! That is exactly what I wanted to know as it confirms what I have been hearing. For those that want to know more, you can google swift springs advantage and read about them.

Getting my BC BR installed tomorrow. Curious to try the ride over my B12 and see how low it will sit with my 18s.

so just realized that when I turn the wheels and hit a bump my front wheels actually hit the fenders.. I can see a dent coming about. Will rolling the fenders stop this problem?

Not likely... Raise it up or reduce the wheel offset (higher offset)

OK will start with having the fenders rolled and perhaps change the ET on the rims next if it doesnt help

hey, did you install them straight out of the box and it sits like that? or did you fiddle with the height prior to installation?

I already adjusted it.. It sits higher if you dont touch it. I lowered it a bit more.. Its only turned down 50% so it will or can go very very low

Despite being reassured by BC Racing that these were fully adjustable, they are not. They are only adjustable for height and rebound, just like KW V2. I unfortunately bought a set and had to sell them at a loss brand new in box. Good riddance, looks like BC Racing is full of it.
