Is there someone with a c-class here with the 823 style rims from powerwheelspro? If someone can post a pic of that I would really appreciate it. I kinda changed my mind after seeing the installed rims on the car as the spokes looks a little thin (just my 2 cents)

I'm also on the same boat now. For me it's because the split is too close together. 823 has more gap. I guess 2 weeks hold for me. That'll give me some time to save up for them too.

Seraphim, 19x8.5 would be what you need if you don't want to run them staggered.
One option in 225/35/19 is:
1. General G-Max for $662 or
2. Nitto NT555 for $622 mounted and balanced. Shipping for the wheels and tires is $140 or $85 for only the wheels.

Thank you,

Factory ordered 2012 MB C350 w/Dynamic Handling Package
Vassili,

Thank you for the reply. I am close to making a decision...however I have a few questions...

#1 Method of payment...do you accept credit cards?
#2 Delivery...how long? Reason why I ask is because I am currently on vacation and while I'd like to receive them ASAP, I also do not want them sitting on my front door while I'm away.

#3a I'm torn between 818 vs 823 in 18x8.5/9.5 size. Perhaps the physics/practicality will help me decide if I knew the exact weight of both sets. (I'll favor the lighter set)

#3b If they are the exact same weight...which of the 2 in your experience is easier to clean?

#4 The AMG badging...is that engraved or is it a sticker?

#5 The website description says they are both "Gun Machine Faced"...yet one seems darker than the other. Is that just the pictures? Or are they really the same shade.

#6 Can I use the stock bolts for either 45mm set.

Thank you in advance,
-Ernest

Hi edgalang

It will be easier to reply next to your questions:

#1 Method of payment...do you accept credit cards? Yes, you can either call your order in at 248 686 2035 or we can send you a paypal invoice or you can order on our website, www.powerwheelspro.com
#2 Delivery...how long? Reason why I ask is because I am currently on vacation and while I'd like to receive them ASAP, I also do not want them sitting on my front door while I'm away.
We can ship them on Monday if you order by Monday 10 am EST

#3a I'm torn between 818 vs 823 in 18x8.5/9.5 size. Perhaps the physics/practicality will help me decide if I knew the exact weight of both sets. (I'll favor the lighter set)
The weight is more of a function of the design and the width of the wheel. Some wheels have more or thicker spokes than others. Since the 818 and 823 are both the same exact diameter and width and they share the same fundamental design (5 split spoke) the weight difference will be negligible.
What might tip the scale for the one option vs the other is the timing. The 818s are in stock and ready to go, the 823s are coming in 9-10 days.

#3b If they are the exact same weight...which of the 2 in your experience is easier to clean?
The good part is that they are both gun machined face finish, so the inserts being gunmetal they hide a lot of brake dust thus keeping your wheels looking cleaner for longer. You probably wouldn't notice any difference in cleaning time between the two, the sponge should fit between the spokes on either design without any issues.

#4 The AMG badging...is that engraved or is it a sticker?
The AMG is a metallic plaque that goes over the blank window on both designs. They had to do away with the engraving on most of these type of wheels at the factory as per Mercedes request.

#5 The website description says they are both "Gun Machine Faced"...yet one seems darker than the other. Is that just the pictures? Or are they really the same shade.
They are the same shade of gun metal.. it depends on how the light hits them.

#6 Can I use the stock bolts for either 45mm set.
Your stock bolts will work on either wheel.
Hi OCDBenz

Saw your order come come through, thank you we will ship the wheels out Monday for your.
Thank you for your business

Vassili,

Thank you for the reply, I definitely plan to order when I get back form vacation (7 more days), but until then, I'd like to give the 823 a chance to come in so you can compare them side by side if possible.

Regarding 818 vs 823...

1 - When looking at both wheels from the top, can you see any part of the spokes? I'm basically trying to figure out which wheel has a higher chance of getting a curb rash. If you were to place either wheel face down, would any part of the spokes be touching the ground?

2 - Assuming neither wheel spokes sticks out past the lip, which of the 2 designs is more concave?

3 - In prior posts, you listed both wheels that is engraved instead of a plaque. Do you have any more in stock that is engraved?

-Ernest

A few better pics of the 818s. I really think they're gorgeous wheels and hopefully they tip the scales for some people who are undecided yet.

Thank you for the reassurance vipsa. I agree, I think I'll go with the 818. Mainly because I think it is more different in design to the stock C350 AMG wheels than the 823s.

A question for you however...how did you blackout the grill? That happens to be the exact look I'm looking for.
