Benz, BMW & Audi China were using body damping pads that contain carcinogens, i.e. bitumen. Same stuff you use on roads. With respect it is a storm in a teacup.

Dynamat and Fatmat sound dampener use the same bitumen asphalt. Glyn M Ruck is quite correct that it is a "storm in a teacup".
Please don't even ask about the loose plasticizers released by all the vinyl and rubberized dash and door materials leached into the cabin, the upholstery also throws off cancerous radicals. Minute traces of dioxins can sometimes be formed by photochemical reactions when your Benz is left in the sun.
