Yes, I'm a little undecided by the "soft" appearance, too. I really like the way the current C-class looks, but subsequent MBs have been very disjointed and oddly crude. I think the new S-class also looks too soft but, given what the (horrific) SL looks like, I was actually relieved b/c I think it could've been much more garish.
So far the C looks quite understated and elegant, which is what I think an MB should look like. And I assume it'll be quite aerodynamic. Looking forward to seeing the interior....

Agree on the softness of it. But we wont know till we actually see it unmasked if its going to look good or not. Also that seems to be a luxury model (sits too high and dont see a body kit) so that may effect the looks too. But I had a 2005 c class and loved the look of it and it was round. Did anyone notice it has a tow hook in the back lol. What the heck is that for?
