ECU tune and increased redline.

Anyone here with a M276 tune the ECU to a higher redline?
If so, raised by how much?

Could you list some positives and negatives? And whether or not you own or lease and how long you've had this configuration for?

I'm looking for someone with personal experience.

Could you provide more technical information? Increasing the redline is an option of the tuning process. Are you implying tuning overall is a bad idea? Reason why I ask is because OE Tuning provides this as an option and they are recommending a possible increase of 200-300 RPM.

I have the OE Tune on my C300 and my redline was not increased and was not given that option. To my knowledge there is no added benefit to increasing the redline due to where the power band lies.

...

Perhaps Jeremy from OE Tuning can chime in (if he sees this thread). I called trying to setup a schedule with them over the holiday weekend and was told Jeremy was on vacation for a month (so I decided to back out). My information was from his temporary replacement "Ben".

OE does offer the option of increasing the redline but I am not sure by how much and it is something you have to request. Likely due to the fact that there is no particular benefit and the engine gets a bit rough around the edges in the higher rev range.
