Transmission Problem at 81 000 miles
Hi Guys,
To start i have a 08 C350 4 Matic 2008 With 130 000KM ( 81 000 ) miles
Ok i have an issue since 2-3 month on my car , i visit 2-3 MB dealer and they always says that my car had no problem, this was really **** me off because even a Dealer can recognized their problem.
I Decide to Go to another MB Dealer that is Recognized by Mercedes Canada,
Here is there Review,
My transmission have some Problem , power cuts off sometime, When this problem arrived , i can't change gears , i am running 100 Km/h on Highway and even if i downshift to 6-5-4-3 gears , nothing happend,
My transmission was missing 0.6L of Oil, Also Clutch Converter was to high,
After that , they add the missing oil , fix the clutch converter, and replace couple of bolts, they also did a restart of the TCU .
When i left the shop the next day, the car was running great and better, but after 50 Miles, problem came back again , so i decide to bring the car back to the dealer ,
i have an appointment on july 16 , to open the tranny and see what is the problem.
they charge 129.00$ / 1 Hour, They need at least 5 Hours, This is only to verify the problem, no parts and no oil in is included in that bill.
Do you thing it's normal that for a 08 With only that milleage , that i have transmission Faillure ?
Sorry for my English , i do live in montreal where French is my 1st language
Thanks

The fact that you are losing oil from a sealed gearbox is concerning.
Have you observed any leaks? any fluid on the ground when you move the car after a while?
also, if you're not still under warranty, you should probably avoid the dealership. find a specialist to help you out.

I bought the car 3 months ago , without the information of the tranny has been repair already by a local shop, still under warranty by that shop , they offer 1 year on repair. No lost of oil on the parking , probably the guy didnt fill up to good quantity.
and VIPSA, yes i am really thinking of reselling that car...
