Sean, thats really weird. Why would they suddenly delete a minor item like that, makes no sense. Are there any other 2014's on the lot?, maybe check those cars and see if they have the lit door pulls. I am not aware of any standalone option that includes those door pull lights, i always thought they were standard on every C class.

I think my vehicle is the first to arrive as it was a special order 2014. When they get others, I'll compare on the lot. A service advisor said his 2013 didn't have them so that further confuses me.
I do know for a fact the coupes don't have them.

It Is Finally Here
On Saturday I called the dealer and asked for an update on the car.
He said it came in overnight and would be available for delivery on Tuesday (today).
We will be picking it up this afternoon.
Thanks for all the bread feedback on the status of your cars. It helped to keep my dealer on the ball.
Will post photos once my wife lets me at it.

Picked it up yesterday
Got to the dealer at 6pm, drove it home around 7:30. Actually the wife drove it. She followed me for 1/2 the trip, then passed me and I followed her. I love the lighting package, polar white with the sport package AMG wheels. Very sharp looking car.
Hopefully the rest of y'all waiting will get yours soon. It is way better than the 2008 C300-4matic we sold.

I picked up mine July 29th c350 2014 sedan. European Delivery Program. Put on 1100 miles. I was told it was one of the first ones off the line. I don't know how to verify that. I basically made my own itinerary and did lots of coordinating. It was one Fantastic Trip!

I picked mine up the Wednesday before Labor Day weekend. I thought I added a photo of it as my profile picture (not sure how to get it to show up under my name to the left).... Got the lighting package, 2 premium packages (for COMAND, Nav, Satellite Radio, etc), lane assist, blind spot assist. Color is diamond silver (which has a slight blue tone to it -- really pretty), with Ash interior.
Still coming up to speed on all of the tech, which is fine, because I'm a gadget/tech fiend.

, love the diamond silver, i had a loaner car in that color. Does it have the interior door lighting in the bottom door pull? I am still stumped as to why sean949ca's car doesnt have it.

I found this information on the original sticker -- it's in the lower right hand corner. Mine says it was assembled in Germany. And I have an "A" in the 11th digit on my VIN too. Is 7/12 the date of mfg? If so, is there a way to figure this out, or did they just tell you?

Regarding the door pull, I just went out and checked, and I do have lighting in my door pull (not sure if looks the same as what sean949ca saw in another car).
I've attached a photo here. The orange spots you see in the upper surface (facing down to the opening) of the door pull opening is the lighting.
Now I know that there is are settings for light options, I have both surround and interior delay enabled, and it appears from the manual that how these behave may be impacted by whether your car lights are on "Auto" or not. I also keep my lights on "Auto". (May or may not matter for the door pulls, but just tossing that out).

Glad I jumped in this thread. I am discovering features in my car from which I am not aware of for the past 10 months of ownership. Thought the small panels on the front bumper are for towing purposes. True enough, I think I saw what it seems like a retractable nozzle inside. Now I have to figure out how the Headlamp washer works

Yes, picked the car up last Tuesday. Had the windows tinted on Wednesday and put new Michelin All Season Sport 3 tires on Thursday. No door pull lights or headlight washers, has lighting package.
My wife really likes the new car and her friends are envious. Everyone loves the Mars Red.
It appears, sitting at the port for two months did not hurt it. The dealer did a great job in detailing the car for pickup.
Appreciate all your input and support.
