Noob w/ '10 C300 Sport, 320 MM Pkg, P01. QUESTIONS!
Questions, lots of questions.
1. The Universal Media Interface, can I add it to the W204 easily for Bluetooth interface? Cost?
2. When I look at rear window, top, there are two rubber strips between the car and the glass on each side, but nothing in the center. Is this normal? Should that run all the way across?
3. I just ordered the Morimoto HID kit for installation. Any words of wisdom?
4. I have a Motorola HD Max cell and I'm having trouble importing my contacts. I saw an import happen but it didn't create any contacts in my address book.
5. How do I delete the entire address book versus a single contact without resetting the entire system?
More questions to come.... sorry!
Thanks though.

What are the details of your C300? I really like mine so far. Palladium Silver, Black interior, NAV, Sport, Premium 1.
I'd like to be able to stream music via Bluetooth from my phone but haven't figured that one out yet.
Good luck.

Let the Mods begin! On the way are Morimoto Elite w/XB HID, JBSpeed Carbon Fiber Trunk Lip and Roof Spoilers, and 3M CF for Roof. Later will come CF Godhand Front Lip Spoiler all on Palladium Silver w/Sport stock wheels. That might have to change too at some point.
What's the easiest way to debadge? Hair dryer? Hot day? Pry off? How do you remove the adhesive holding the letters on the trunk lid?
Any input on the questions above would also be appreciated! Thanks.

What I've learned....
1. The Universal Media Interface, can I add it to the W204 easily for Bluetooth interface? Cost? Still don't know.
2. When I look at rear window, top, there are two rubber strips between the car and the glass on each side, but nothing in the center. Is this normal? Should that run all the way across? Still don't know.
3. I just ordered the Morimoto HID kit for installation. Any words of wisdom? It seems like pulling the entire headlamp assembly might be easier. I'm think of putting the ballast in the headlamp housing as recommended in one of the threads on this site. Any thoughts on this? I need your expertise and experience.
4. I have a Motorola HD Max cell and I'm having trouble importing my contacts. I saw an import happen but it didn't create any contacts in my address book. Apparently if your address book is too big, it won't finish. I reduced the size and through deletion of old contacts and it went just fine.
5. How do I delete the entire address book versus a single contact without resetting the entire system? Still don't know this, I just reset and it eliminated the old address book. I had to reset all of my GPS favorites and radio stations and all is well.
Still looking for information on the others if you're so inclined.

Unfortunately, I was not able to place the Morimoto ballast into the 2010 headlight housing during my installation. The gap between the bulb holder and housing was too narrow for the ballast to pass through. Therefore, I mounted the ballasts in the engine compartment for the time being. You can also mount the ballasts lower as xxhotelcrazyxx does in this video:
You do not have to remove the headlight housings.
By the way, the improvement in light output with the Morimoto kit (I used 4300k bulbs) is pretty remarkable compared to the stock halogens.
Good luck with the install!

Snowmuch, thanks for the reply as well. I already have the parts that you referenced in the glove box minus the USB interface. It has an iphone/pod and 3.5mm miniplug in a single pig tail. I was hoping to add Bluetooth A2DP streaming to my system, but I don't believe it'll be possible.
Although, I just found and ordered the Viseeo A2DP interface that now supports Android.
Thanks!

The ViseeO works great. It won't allow you to navigate songs from the steering wheel but it does allow you A2DP stream music and phone via Bluetooth. If a call comes in, or NAV directions given, it mutes the music and then resumes. Auto sync is not an issue either. I am VERY happy with this purchase.
It requires the iPod cable in the glove box. I have the dual iPod/3.5mm mini plug Aux port and when the ViseeO is engaged, the Aux is no longer available. I'm fine with this because I BT most things from my phone which are written as either WMA or High Res MP3 and it sounds pretty good. Rolling at 75 MPH I doubt you'd hear the difference.
Love my ride!
