That sounds terrible...to much high pitch reverberation...sounds like someone blowing a kazoo beside you while the car is accelerating.

Haha its probably because of the high flow cats and x pipe. If you YouTube search it it will tell you the full setup.

Sadly that's similar to what the custom exhaust I have on my c200 sounds like. Hoping the Eisenmann race I ordered will remedy this. Hate sounding like an overpriced fart cannon.

Fi exhaust

I do like the option they have of being able to control the valves full open or closed for calm quiet driving when you aren't trying to let it rip what premium exhaust would you guys recommend for my 2011 c300 4matic?? The FI base unit is
"Classic model of Fi exhaust for Mercedes-Benz W204 C300 includes: Front & Mid-Y pipe + Valvetronic Muffler + Silver Quad Tips with remote controller module, and the price is USD 3,000.

We also offer two optional upgrade choice: Ultra high flow catless Downpipe, and the price is USD 1,000. The other, Racing 100 cell catalyst Downpipe is USD 1,600."

So $3 grand without the high flow catless downpipe.... $4k with it... And then idk how much install will cost and the company said my 4matic might need some custom fitting to make it work they haven't tried it on a w204 4matic so they don't know how it will fit.

What brand should I look at that will give me10-15% performance gain like this FI but be better/sound better and be a good price also?? Anyone know roughly what install will cost?
Thank you

Please tell me that you're not seriously expecting 10%-15% hp/tq gain from an exhaust.
If you are, I've got an ocean front property for sale in Nevada for you.

Seriously, exhaust systems should be considered strictly as a visual/sound upgrade. Any performance gain will be negligible, especially on an NA engine. So find an exhaust that YOU think looks good and more importantly sounds good to YOU. If you want a suggestion, the Meisterschaft one is considered one of the best sounding/looking, but that is subjective. Others like the the Eisenmann. Youtube is your friend, so you can form your own opinion.

On a turbo car it can be worth a lot. Maybe not on the C250 as the ECU is always holding it back. On my Mitsubishi Turbo dropping the exhaust was worth almost 50whp and a god catback 30whp.
