Cool COMAND Display Color

I've already checked multiple forums, searched, and inquired, all to no avail. So I'm asking.

I have a 2010 C300 Sport/4MATIC with COMAND and want to change the background color from Yellow/Brown to Black/Blueish that I see in a lot of the posted pics.

I saw a post from a 2013 and tried the *-Hangup-1 and couldn't get it to go. From where do you issue this, car on or off? I tried both and accessory on and couldn't get it to go. Mine is 3 years older as well, was there a different sequence to enter the menus?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

It cannot be changed. Mercedes changed it on the 2013+ cars, but the 2012 and down have the warmer color scheme. It is not a modifiable setting.

On my 2010 it changes depending on the time of the day. During the daylight hours it's the warm colors and at night it's black/white/blue

I've seen pics on this forum of 2010's with the black/blue/white colors, so I'm guessing it can be done. But then, it's only a guess. :o\

Any other ideas? Thanks all for your input so far.

I know we can put it in Day/Night/Auto mode, but I didn't see the difference I was looking for in Night mode.

Thanks.

Night mode is what I was going to suggest, but it looks like you've already tried that. I've scoured through the engineering mode a few times, and unfortunately I don't remember seeing any setting that would indicate a change in color modes.
